Chicagoans are spending over $4.5 million per day on police services.

SAN FRANCISCO

The city of San Francisco spends over 15% of its unrestricted budget funding the city’s police. That’s a cost of just under $900 million.

This is more than the city tax dollars spent on affordable housing, public transit, and parks and recreation combined

San Francisco residents are spending $2.4 million per day on police services.

SEATTLE

The city of Seattle spends over 27% of its unrestricted budget funding the city’s police. That’s a cost of over $407 million.
